John Devendorf is a graduate of UCLA and obtained his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a Distinguished Scholar and recipient of the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award. During law school, John participated in the Immigrant Workers’ Rights Clinic and special delegation to Haiti.
John has been a licensed attorney for more than a decade. After an externship with the IRS, judicial clerkship, and practice in a civil litigation firm in Princeton, New Jersey, John transitioned to a career as a legal content writer and editor. John now lives in Portland, Oregon, where he enjoys writing, international travel, and escape rooms
